Frequently Asked Questions

How is the ramp secured to the container?

We supply high-tensile safety chains with every unit. These wrap through the container locking eyes and secure back to the ramp to prevent movement during operation.

What kind of ground surface is required?

For safety, use the ramp on flat, level, and hard surfaces like concrete or bitumen to ensure stable weight distribution.

Can this ramp be used with reefer containers?

Yes. However, because refrigerated containers sit slightly higher, always check your specific floor height against our 160mm ramp height for a flush fit.

What does ""SWL"" mean for my site?

Safe Working Load. It ensures the ramp can handle a total load of 7 tonnes (forklift + cargo) safely without structural compromise.

What maintenance is required?

Minimal. We recommend weekly visual checks of the safety chains and a monthly inspection of the structural steel for any debris or damage.

Does it arrive pre-assembled?

Yes, it arrives as a fully welded, single-piece unit ready for immediate use.

Can one person set this up?

Yes. Although it weighs 295kg, it is designed for a single forklift operator to position it in less than a minute.
